Because everyone deserves the dignity of a safe, stable home.

At Matt Urban Human Services, we believe home is more than just a place — it’s the foundation of dignity, safety, and hope. This holiday season, we’re bringing our community together through a series of charity events that support individuals and families facing homelessness, poverty, and hardship across Buffalo’s East Side.

By participating in one (or all!) of our upcoming events, you’re helping us turn temporary shelter into lasting stability — one warm meal, one safe night, one act of kindness at a time.

🏃‍♀️ Matt Urban’s Trick or Trot 5K — October 25, 2025

Run for fun. Run for good.
This Halloween-themed 5K in Delaware Park brings together runners, walkers, families, and costumed characters to raise funds for our housing and community programs. Proceeds help support displaced families, seniors, and youth in need.

Back for its 10th year, Cookies for a Cause is one of the tastiest ways to support local families. With every cookie box sold, you’re helping someone find comfort and stability during the coldest months.
